For those who are not familiar with the Ascii text codes, here are the most common ones.  Make sure Num Lock is on, then hold down the Alt key and type in the numerical code to get whatever you are looking for.  This works for all Microsoft Word programmes – I am not familiar with other word processing programmes and whether the codes would work there too.<p>
