Good luck. I am using the Enterprise version and there might be some slight differences.

Some of the lady typists should be able to help.

Thank you for the effort, but I do everything that you suggest and on my office computer it works perfectly.
Even the auto correction is fine. I did a spelling check on the clip (after I intoduced some mistakes) and the spell checker tells me that there is noo mistakes.

I know office 2003 very well, but still struggle to find all the settings in 2007 as I do not use it very often

I suspect it has somthing to do with the dictionary that is missing or wrong

Here is your post after I ran it on my PC. I did not change 'whiney' because it did not offer anything to replace it. It did note that it was not right.
The program does not correct mistakes but gives you words from which you select a replacement

Thank you GG

I changed the settings and it now check the grammar, however when I do a spell check it tells me there is no errors. Look at the clip below that is supposed to be error free.

Ah. But they do not. People who would convince themselves that Obama is some flash in the pan or lacks substance are operating more from a wish fulfillment. The man was elected with a huge plurality of voters. Implying that every single vote for Obama was *wrong* seems a bit elitist doesn't it? The repetition of a thing does not make the thing true, and one error people make does not understand why people vote.

People do not vote on issues, they vote on feelings. Just because individual A does not like a person does not mean that individuals B through Y don't. Whiney Americans wanted everything to be all better in like, oh ma gosh, right now!! And our politicians play to that. The horse race of Obama being down is part of the game of politics. Polls that are nine months out are fairly worthless.

The guy has done MORE in Afghanistan after a year in office than Bush did in 8 years in either Afghanistan OR Iraq. The right just can't drag them to give him credit for that. He has somehow gotten Pakistan to start hunting down high value targets. The repercussions of this are huge. Bush touted every small fry he got as the final straw and so people are desensitized. The guys we are nabbing are OLD SCHOOL Taliban. It's huge, which is why the right isn't saying a peep. Nine months is FOREVER in politics. The fat lady hasn't even been born at this point, much less being ready to sing.

Open word

At the top left, next to the logo, is a small toolbar with a drop down arrow just to its right

Click the drop down and a menu appears

Click on SPELLING AND GRAMMAR

Now a red zigzag bar appears under misspelled words, just as it does here on this forum.

Also, the last icon in that toolbar is now a spelling and grammar checker. ABC with check mark underneath.

Click the icon and it will highlight your mistakes in a separate small window, along with suggestions for correction.

Can someone please help? I recently changed to MS Office 2007 from 2003 and have problems with the speling and grammar checking function. I know that there is wrongly spelled wprds, but it tells me that there in no errors. It might be the dictionary that is missing – how do you update it? How do you set the automatic marking in 2007?
